"Appearing Sculptural” is a cinematic approach through the past works of the Austrian practice, which aims to show them in a dinamic way rather than estatic one we are used to see them.
Andreas Waldschütz has been the creator of 'Appearing Sculptural' Audiovisual series made up of 6 videos, showing the most sculptural buildings from Marte.marte studio. An unconventional way of communicating architecture that does, however, suceed in communicating their varying experiencial character. Accompanied with music by the sound-designer and composer Stefan Hoffmeister, who designed the sound with on-site recordings with a dark ambient-like composition, the pieces recreate the location of the different projects. The films screen at Marte.Marte´s second monographic exhibition and at the 15th Architcture Biennale 2016 in Venice.

The projects chosen to be described through this innovative video format are:

Alfenz Bridge Loruens. Vorarlberg, Austria (2010)
Outdoor Museum Roman Villa Rankweil-Brederis.Vorarlberg, Austria (2008)

Mountain Cabin Laterns.Vorarlberg, Austria (2012)
