Founded in 1995 and creator of some of the largest projects of contemporary cultural relevance: the International Festival of Photography and Visual Arts PHotoEspaña, Matador magazine, the online film festival or Jameson Notodofilmfest or literature festival Eñe , that just celebrated in Madrid, La Fábrica has decided to step forward and open its own center.
A new meeting of two plants, located in Alameda 9 of Madrid, which will feature a bookstore specializing in photography with funds from major international publishers, an art gallery, which will turn to new collectors, presenting editions of great names of art at affordable prices, cafe and restaurant, and a training area, which will develop courses and workshops in different areas working La Fábrica: photography, art, literature, film and cultural management. La Fábrica also develop a weekly schedule of activities: meetings with artists, talks, lectures, presentations and projections for different fields of contemporary culture.
The new center La Fábrica will operate every day of the week and reinforce cultural offer one of the most creative and cultural activity of the capital.
The gallery of La Fábrica, which now occupies part of this space will be closed during the refurbishment. The inauguration of the new La Fábrica space, located a few meters from the offices of the company, which employs a team of 36 people, is scheduled for next March.
