The Festival presents a better understanding of our cities, converted ecosystems created, modified and adapted by their inhabitants over time.
The city, as a reference model in terms of social organization, allows organizers to ask some interesting questions: Does the city help to humanize citizens, or has it the opposite effect? Does it gather all the conditions human beings need to live? Can a artificial environment restrict the opportunities for personal fulfillment we all desire? Does it promote a sustainable social model? Is urban development compatible with nature protection?
