The team formed by MGP Architecture and Urbanism (Colombia) and estudio.entresitio (Spain) have been winners of the first prize. To the public contest for the design of the National Museum of Memory of Bogotá 72 proposals were presented.

According to the jury, the winning project "is a building that carefully respects the pain of our past and at the same time celebrates the hope of the next future", which completes the idea raised in the contest "rescue of memory as an antidote Effective in the face of denial, deformation or indolence in the face of violence", seeking that the outcome of the proposals be a "profound and poignant homage to the victims" of the Colombian armed conflict.

The jury was composed of architects Juan Pablo Ortiz, Clemencia Escallón, Mauricio Pinilla, Mario Figueroa and Efraín Riaño who awarded the second prize to Taller Síntesis and the third place to David Delgado Arquitectos. In addition, 3 mentions of honor were awarded to the teams of: García Stefan & Monoblock; Fernando & Ricardo Rincón, and Altiplano with Alejandro Piñol.

On winner project by estudio.entresitio and MGP Arquitectura y Urbanismo, the jury said;
