"Dormir Con..." by Enrique Rottenberg and Carlos Otero

Opening next November 2, an interesting exhibition "Dormir Con..." in Gallery Rita Castellote, with a theme that surely will interest you. Photo visit to somewhere more private of each house in Cuba, bedroom. The photographs were taken across the length and breadth of the island. Voluntary and indiscreet visit beyond the limits of the public to bring us where we spend a third of our life, space in which we dream, we disclose and procreate. The series is set in the fine threshold between the author photography and documentary photography, not only constitutes the registration of a reality, conveys the presence, sometimes uncomfortable and always revealing the artists.

The trajectories of the photographers are very different. Enrique Rottenberg comes from cinema where he was director, screenwriter and producer, Carlos Otero emerges as champion of the aquatic world of underwater photo. Both work in Cuba.

Enrique Rottenberg. Filmmaker, a graduate of the prestigious Camera Obscura, Tel Aviv. Producer, writer and director of seven feature films, six of whom received an award from the Israeli Film Academy. Author of the novel in Spanish La mujer de su vida, published by Quarto, Spain. Lives and works in Cuba 16 years ago, where he began his photographic work.

Carlos Otero Blanco. National Underwater photography specialist. Participated as a photographer for the Cuban team at the 10th World Underwater Photography Championship L'Estartit, Spain 2005. 4th Grand Prix International Image Festival of Nature, Rosa Elena Simeon in Memoriam, 2007. First Place National Underwater photography Fotosub Cuba 2008 and 2009. First Fotosub Varadero 2008. Second Place in Photography at the 5th International Festival image of nature Rosa Elena Simeon in Memoriam 2009. First Place Category Environment with International Fotosub Model Colony 2010.
