The methodology of the exquisite corpse, which articulates and gives meaning to the artistic narrative of the exhibition proposed by Bombon Projects, Joan Prats and NoguerasBlanchard, is of great interest when contemplating the result. Being able to witness the concatenation of choices between one artist and another within their artistic distances is in itself a fact that gives food for thought.
The result and mixture of works, although at first glance it may seem fortuitous, have been the result of a slow and thoughtful analysis that, far from so, the act consisted of ordering and passing the baton. When you put them in dialogue, the conversation and superimposition of elements, layers, colours, and textures give rise to a set of successions in a game in continuous transformation, creating a larger narrative.

The exquisite corpse is a collective creation technique that was born during the surrealism movement. Artists such as André Bretón or Robert Desnos, among others, got together to play a game based on the spontaneity of the participants, who had to create an image by seeing only the traces of the previous participant's contribution. The final composition of this exchange is what they called an exquisite corpse (cadavre exquis in French); a collective work that sought to encourage the collective unconscious.
Through the superimposition of layers and glances, this exhibition sees the light under a refreshing concept of collective exchange divided into four phases. The first phase will open on June 17 under the gaze of Pere Noguera, senior mud covering artist, who opens this chapter with the choice of two artists, who in turn choose another, until the end of the project. Seeking to close a cycle of exhibition proposals formed by works that span different generations and imaginaries. Earth, water, air, and art.
