Casa O2 is a house located in nature on the outskirts of Rio Tercero raised for two users and their guests with large versatile spaces.

Casa O2 built by OSLO CONSTRUCTORA SRL [Constantino Trebucq, Josefina Trebucq and Milagros Sirena] is located in Cordoba, Argentina, composed of three blocks, there are two modules that support the upper block of brick. This home seeks to have a relationship with the environment as well as to conserve their materials in the most natural state so the home will require less maintenance.

Description of the project by OSLO CONSTRUCTORA SRL

The house is located in a field on the outskirts of the city of Rio Tercero with a wide and natural landscape.

From the beginning, the client requested a project where only two people would live but they would receive regular visits of relatives, therefore, it was thought to be a house with large versatile spaces allowing to be adapted to the active social life of the users with a strong connection with the environment.

The housing was developed in three defined blocks, in which two low modules of reinforced concrete hold a huge block of face bricks. These modules are the most private sectors, in which all services are contained on one side and on the other is the master bedroom. The central block, quite more friendly, is suspended inviting to enter and explore it through a great green corridor which gives arrival at the unique double height space where the dining room is located. The top floor of this block, as well as having an atelier with a balcony to the central area also contains two bedrooms and a bathroom prepared to receive all kind of visitors.

In terms of construction, the idea of the project was to develop a house with low maintenance requirements, trying to be as natural as possible, without forcing the material’s essence and respecting their own ethics.
