Obiol

Cecília Obiol (Barcelona, 1981) graduated in architecture from the Barcelona School of Architecture, where she was an assistant professor between 2006 and 2010 in the Cátedra Blanca directed by Carlos Ferrater and Alberto Peñín. Between 2010 and 2012 she was assistant director of the Barcelona Institute of Architecture, where she also taught in the Department of Construction Technologies. Between 2012 and 2013 she was an assistant professor at ETH-Zürich (Josep Lluís Mateo Chair). She has worked at David Chipperfield Architects (2002), Santi Vives Arquitectura (2003-2011), Flores-Prats Architects (2011-2012) and BAC ECG (2014-2015). Between 2010 and 2014 she was a member of the governing board of the College of Architects of Catalonia, and since 2011 she has been the editor of the magazine Palimpsesto, published by the Cátedra Blanca (ETSAB-UPC). She has written various articles that have been published in books and magazines, both printed and digital.
