Jan Kaláb (Prague, 1978) - formerly known as Cakes and Point - is one of the most important authors of international geometric and urban abstractionism. Founder of the DSK crew, Kaláb traveled throughout Europe and America, developing his style until his characteristic 3D graffiti. As a result of these experiences, he began creating installations with abstract letters that he places on the streets or hangs along the walls, looking for new dimensions. Since 2007 he explores the infinite nuances of abstract painting on canvas, expressing his own language through a perfect balance between the compression of forms and minimalism, capable of generating surprising effects of depth and dynamism.
