Iker Alzola is an architect who graduated from ETSA in San Sebastian with more than 10 years of experience in the field of architecture. After working in studios such as Enric Miralles-Benedetta Tagliabue (EMBT) in Barcelona and Fuksas in Rome, in 2013 he moved to London where he joined Foster and Partners. In London, he formed part of the team of architects that designed and directed the new Apple headquarters, Apple Park (California), as well as the rehabilitation of the old Battersea Power Station thermo-electric plant in London, the future Apple headquarters in Europe.

In 2017 he returned to Barcelona to establish elastiko, an architecture and design studio of which he is the director. He currently collaborates with Cloudworks in the design and execution of works for different coworking spaces in Barcelona and Madrid, with the aim of achieving a collective and personal aesthetic across all the brand's venues. For this, Cloudworks has opted for furniture that has been custom designed by the elastiko team and that of leading brands such as Santa & Cole, Marset, HAY and Cármenes.

Iker Alzola holds a Master’s Degree in Restoration and Management of Built Heritage from the UPV / EHU and a Master’s in Architectural Design from the School of Architecture of Barcelona (ETSAB), where he currently holds a teaching position.

In the academic field, he has also been a guest professor in critical and jury sessions at the Architectural Association of London. Iker Alzola is a member of the COAC, the Architects’ Registration Board and the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).
