P + S Estudio de Arquitectura is the studio that has won the competition to design the pavilion that will host the TAC! program, with the aim of bringing architecture closer to public space and society, will be located in the Plaza del Humilladero in Granada between October 14 and November 14, 2022.

P + S Estudio de Arquitectura will receive a prize of €10,000 and will carry out the pavilion project in Granada with an execution budget of €90,000, which can be increased with contributions from sponsors.
"Aire", the project by P + S Estudio de Arquitectura, has been selected as the winner "for its ability to offer a shelter space in dialogue with the large scale of the city, enabling multiple uses in relation to the environment", according to the jury statement. The proposal stands out for the combination of a natural material such as esparto grass, with a great local artisan tradition, with a modular structure system. Likewise, due to its volume, which changes between day and night, which “will make the piece a visible and representative icon in the public space of the Plaza del Humilladero”.

The contest, in which a total of 95 proposals have participated, has awarded a second prize that will receive €2,000 to the proposal "La Casa del Aire" by Estudio Ramos Alderete (formed by the team of Pablo Ramos Alderete, Jaime Ramos Alderete, Jorge Ramos Alderete and Ana Isabel Santolaria Castellanos, with the collaboration of Inés Querejeta Martín and Luisa Moreno Palacios) and the third prize of €1,000 for "4GU45", by the architects Alejandro Infantes Pérez and María Reyes Rodríguez Escudero.

In addition, four mentions have been highlighted for their great interest, their architectural quality, and their constructive integrity and coherence to the proposals.

“Aljibe” by the architects Paloma Baquero Masats, Juan Antonio Serrano García and Tomás García Píriz, who have had the collaboration of Eduardo Serrano Padilla, Jimena Lupión Holgado and Olga García-Giralda Rodríguez.

"Big John", a project by the meii studio composed by Jose María Mateo Torres, Elvira Carrión Meroño and Clara Torregrosa Gomis.

“Active Poplar”, designed by Ignacio de Teresa, Lucía de Molina, Xianjun Zhou and Ignacio Hornillos.

“Emergency Door”, by Luis Durbán García, Lourdes, Durbán García, Lucía Guzmán Martínez, Rafael Pérez Ariza, Irene Sánchez Sánchez and Guillermo Soria Alonso.

P + S Estudio de Arquitectura was founded in Madrid in 2019 by the architects Francisco Javier Parada Pino and Laura R. Salvador González.  The P + S studio understands the exercise of architecture and urban planning as a common practice of research and work. The study focuses on the investigation of the processes of indeterminacy, thermodynamics and entropy, applied to the exercise of architecture and urban planning.

Francisco Parada (Chile, 1984). Architect with distinction from the Universidad del Desarrollo -Santiago de Chile in 2009. He works as aprofessor in the Faculty of Architecture of the same University between 2010-2017, participating in various academic projects and publications. He simultaneously practices the profession independently between 2011-2017. Since 2018 he has been studying for a Doctorate in the Transversal Studies of Architecture and Urbanism program at ETSAM – Polytechnic University of Madrid.

Laura R. Salvador (Spain, 1989). Architect (2016) y Máster en Estudios Urbanos (2019) and Master in Urban Studies (2019) from ETSAM (Polytechnic University of Madrid). She carries out training stays at TU Delft, in the study of B.V. Doshi in Ahmedabad, in addition to numerous international workshops (ETH Zurich, CSM London, among others). Between 2012 and 2018, she collaborates with the COAM, Arquitectos Sin Fronteras (Senegal) and in an R+D+i project in the Department of Urbanism of the ETSAM, also exercising professionally independently.
