The exhibition will run until January 26, 2014 and is part of program acts Week of Architecture of Madrid, presents drawings from seventeen studies Spanish architects active during the twentieth century.

Antonio Fernández Alba and RAE academic architect  declared during the presentation of the exhibition  Arquitectos españoles del siglo XX en la BNE / Twentieth century Spanish Architects in BNE: "The architect's drawing reflects memory, ever-changing field and look, that's the idea that tries to find what is the future. "

Received all by donation, now part of the collection of drawings of architecture and ornamentation with which counts the Department of Fine Arts and Cartography of the National Library of Spain.

In selected drawings it can discover different modes of graphic expression or the ability to formalize the work by nineteen architects that make up this exhibition, among them are names like Aizpurúa, Labayen, Bigador, Chueca, Corrales or Fernández del Amo.

The curator Peter Moleón, said that the exhibits are the "most representative projects and drawings twentieth century" and expressed the need to create a "National Museum of Architecture".
