The project follows the usual program of these homes and proposes that the gallery be occupied by the kitchen represented by a singular volume of steel. At dusk, the play of light is controlled with a motorized fabric blind that filters the sunlight “tinting the interior orange. The nostalgic atmosphere places us in a future that has not yet arrived.

The premise for this flat was to move away from stereotypes and create an austere and cosmopolitan space for a contemporary dandy.
The bay structure organizes the space in program strips that cross diagonally towards the views of a west-facing block garden. It is sought that the light crosses the entire space, for this reason a single propping is made by means of a stainless steel pillar and a fluted marble column, present together with the light at the moment of entering.
The project questions the traditional functioning of the houses in the expansion, defying local regulations, which is why new formulas are sought to colonize the space, in this case: the gallery. This is occupied by the kitchen: a futuristic-looking steel monolith, as well as a control center where all the technology in the house is concentrated. At sunset, a motorized fabric blind filters the sunlight, dyeing the interior orange. The nostalgic atmosphere places us in a future that has not yet arrived.
