We continue with the interviews conducted by Itinerant Office in his project "New Generations". It's turn Ramiro Losada, a Spanish architect based in Madrid and Caceres whose work focuses on audio-visual production.

Ramiro losada is an architect and director of a "Platform of architectural operations" based on three sections: architecture, audio-visual (related with culture and architecture) and education.

He has been working for other offices in London and Rotterdam but then he dedicated to start his own activity. When he started in 2006, his study was working in collaboration with a dutch office. He started with some small competitions, reforms and education and we induced the audio visual production as something important for the office.

In Madrid we based our office in Studio Banana. It is a multidisciplinary platform with different professionals.Together with other people with many interests in common we decided to start architectural and audio visual projects. Two years later, in 2008, we founded "Studio Banana Television" with 5 partners. We produce audio visual documents for cultural events. The 5 partners have differents backgrounds: architects, informatics, video -makers..and depending by the project, the team can be bigger or smaller.

Studio Banana was founded in 2006 by Ali Ganjavian and Key Kawamura and is a multidisciplinary studio in which people with different education work together. We always try to get the best of every disciplinary and apply it to your field of work. Sometimes it is architecture, other is audio visual or education.Always around architecture but not always intended as building construction. One of the best thing of Studio Banana consist in the posibility to start new projects.Everybody of us is a professional that work independently or in group, depending by the commission.

Sometimes ago, together with other people we decided to found "Studio Banana Cultural". It is a platform that provides a space to show your work, organize debates, improving the cultural diary of Madrid. We decided to document those activities , and this was the beginning of "Studio Banana Television", It started as a small activity and we are now a company. The most interesting thing is that you can meet with different people that help to start new ideas.
