The Government has awarded the Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts seventeen winners, among which are found from the PhotoEspaña and the Festival Internacional del Cante de las Minas, to Gerard Mortier, posthumously, the composer Tomás Marco Aragón
and among others the study of architects Mansilla + Tuñón formed by Luis Moreno Mansilla (Madrid, 1959-2012) and Emilio Tuñón Álvarez (Madrid, 1959), as one of the most influential of his generation, and that currently is finishing the construction of the Museum of the Royal Collections. Congratulations
Together, they have also been recognized this year Manuel Alejandro, Cecilia Margarita Bartolomé Pina, Eduardo Cardenal Gómez, Jorge Herralde Grau, ‘Victoria Eugenia (Betty)’, Victorino Martín Andrés, Alicia Hermida, Patricia Phelps de Cisneros, Joan Pons Álvarez, Juanjo Seoane, Sybilla and Teatro Principal de Mahón.
