Cartoonist and illustrator Vincent Mahé, who usually signs as Mr Bidon, has done this review of the life and work of the architect on the 50th anniversary his death in the French magazine Télérama. Since its beginnings in the architecture, through his participation in the Perret brothers' studio and with characters such as Josephine Baker or Lucio Costa, Mahé illustrates in a comncise way, almost as if it were a list of the great successes of the architect, but with a great graphic quality. As we have previously published in Metalocus, Vincent Mahé is a big fan of architecture, enjoys drawing in sketchbooks on his travels and had previously portrayed the Swiss and other architects like Oscar Niemeyer.
Born in Paris in 1985, Vicent Mahé is a director, designer, and illustrator who is an architecture freak. He studied Animation at " Les Gobelins" between 2005 and 2008 then worked in the feature film business. In parallel illustration he started in 2011 and he went fully freelance last January, 2013. Also he created a studio called "MessieursDame" with 6 other artists.
Since then he had the opportunity to work for the New York Times, Canadian Business, some french magazines and he also did a double page in the last Nobrow # 8 Hysteria.
