Yesterday,
Andrés Perea Ortega architect, passes away in Madrid. He died after being diagnosed with cancer at the beginning of last year. I met him one night at dinner with other friends when I was finishing my architecture studies, at a dinner organized by another good architect Alfonso Valdés, in 1990 and I was lucky to maintain his friendship throughout all these years.
I will remember
Andrés for his erudition, his work as an architect, his virtuosity with the guitar, and his lucidity and passion for architecture. Passionate, vehement, and always full of energy, something he did not lose until the last moment.
