The project is characterized by respect for the pre-existence, to which only "the clothes" change, taking care of the habitation, making it healthier through the use of organic and mineral materials. Vitrified manual pieces of bamboo, natural oak, and heat-treated Flanders pine from Lunawood are also used, and all this is combined, thus constituting the different horizontal and vertical planes that make up the home.

The origin of this renovation is the shower that space built from the daily routine of almost automatic movements and at the same time one that requires maximum possible privacy, it is from here where the project unfolds its magic.
The construction of a small patio allows us to extend the shower outside and thus sprout a forest of bamboos that grow in search of light and outside air. In the opposite direction, the sun, the breeze and occasionally the rain breathe life into this small pied-à-terre in the Sagrada Familia neighborhood of Barcelona.
This shower, together with the bathroom that houses it, are the hinge on which the various configurations of the floor are articulated through a simple set of sliding panels inspired by the subtlety and flexibility of Japanese shõji: 1. The isolated bathroom, 2 The en-suite room, 3. A studio with bathroom and bedroom and 4. The Loft ... where everything is visible because everything wants to be seen.

Vertically, the bamboo forest gives rise to a succulent garden that envelops its visitors with the rhythm of Fibonacci and the freshness of the Kanagawa wave. The living-dining room extends towards Passatge Alio through an open terrace, from which a short staircase gives access to this garden on the heights.
This seed has already been germinating for two lives, that of a couple who began their life together when the tower of the Virgin could not yet be seen from its roof, back in 2009, and in the present an illustrious Belgian who seeks in it his vital retirement.
Between life and life, with the exception of the roof garden, we have only changed the clothing... a new palette of organic and mineral materials for a healthier living: vitrified hand pieces by Ferres give life to the bamboo, Huguet signs the large niche that frames The open kitchen, natural oak from Meister on the inside and heat-treated Flanders pine from Lunawood on the outside constitute the horizontal planes, while in the vertical planes Baumit Nanopor minerally finishes the golden curves of the rooftop.
