PietriArchitectes. Founded in Paris in January 2001 and directed by Jean-Baptiste Pietri, the agency PietriArchitectes realizes projects of buildings both public and private contracts. Located on the rue de Valois, in the heart of Paris, about twenty employees work in all kinds of programs throughout France and they have developed a Mediterranean architecture made with a reference to the landscapes of the south.
The agency also develops equipment such as the Port of La Londe-les-Maures or the Public Services House in Aulnay-sous-Bois, and in 2008, the Horizontal Tower in Milan, home of the International Fair (21,000 sqm). Its approach proposes including contemporary architecture in context, a soft modernity that breaks with the radicalism of reconstruction.
