Zylberman
Laurent Zylberman took his first reports immersed in the London punk-rock music scene in 1980. He later left for New York via Greenland. After founding the Graphix-Images agency in Paris, he spent a decade outside France (between Mexico, China and India) for clients such as Sygma (now Corbis) and settled in Asia where he became a correspondent for Sygma and Asiaweek, which allowed him to show the social and industrial development of these areas.
Since then, Zylberman has collaborated with numerous international publications and has exhibited at the Galerie Rita Castellote in Madrid (Spain), the International Journalism Festival of Angers (France) and the LOOK3 Photography Festival in Charlottesville (Virginia), among others. In 1997, he founded the Graphix-Images agency in Paris, where he currently resides.
Following the riots of 14–16 March 2008, Zylberman and journalist Eric Meyer were among the first Westerners allowed into Tibet. Their series A Journey to Tibet is based on their 15-day mission across “The Top of the World” between Lhasa, Shigatze, Giangtze and Lake Namso.
