Chongxin Zhao was born in February 1966 in Shanghai, China. In 1988 he became BSc Architecture from Hefei University of Technology and between 1988 and 2009 he studied at the Zhongyuan International Engineering Design & Research Institute. In 2009 he Established SHANGHAI RENEW ARCHITECT &PLANNER GROUP.
He is one of the members who founded the UIA World Chinese as well as a member of the Regional Building Committee of the UIA World Chinese. He is also convener for Photography Society of the UIA World Chinese, as well as a core member of the Contemporary Chinese Architectural Forum.
