Xuhui Zhang is a designer and a hospitality entrepreneur based in New York. He is a member of junzi’s founding team and leads the Architecture Design and Real Estate Development wing of the restaurant group. Since 2015 Xuhui designed four locations for junzi, including its Morningside Heights location and Greenwich Village location which respectively received honoree of the NYCxDESIGN Awards in 2018 and 2019.
Xuhui earned his Bachelor degree in Architecture Design from Tsinghua University of China, and Master of Architecture from Cornell University in the United States. Prior to joining junzi, Xuhui worked at world recognized architecture design office Pei Cobb Freed & Partners. Xuhui is also a founding member of the non-profit Architectural Practice Talks organization which curates special programs to foster the designer communities based in New York, Chicago and Shanghai.
