Bofill Taller de Arquitectura is an international architecture studio founded by Ricardo Bofill Levi (1939 - 2022) in 1963 and based in Barcelona, which brings together creative people from diverse disciplines to imagine new forms, new ideas and new ways of relating to the built world.
Bofill Taller de Arquitectura designs buildings, spaces and urban strategies in diverse contexts. The workshop is made up of a multidisciplinary team: engineers, urban planners, sociologists, writers, film directors and philosophers; combining their expertise from their diverse creative fields towards a dynamic approach to architecture.
Throughout its history, Bofill Taller de Arquitectura has had part of its team based in countries such as Algeria and France, carrying out urban planning works.
Currently its work is produced from La Fábrica, a former cement factory in Sant Just Desvern, Barcelona, which serves both as a base and a symbol of the Workshop's continuous transformation.
