Melissa Schumacher (Mexico City, 1982). Multi-task Architect by the University of the Americas Puebla. Her interest for urban studies made her finished a Master in Urbanism in the Barcelona Tech. She had been working in teaching and research on urban and rural development. Currently she studies a PhD in Land Management and Land Tenure in the Technical University of Munich, focusing her research in the gentrification and urban growing process over the urban fringe in Mexico.
