RVDM arquitectos is a studio based in Aveiro, Portugal, founded in 1997 and led by Ricardo Vieira de Melo. His work includes residential, hotel and other building equipment, as well as interior design.
Ricardo Vieira de Melo graduated in Architecture from the Faculdade de Arquitectura da Universidade Técnica de Lisboa (FAUTL) in 1989. He has been president of the Aveiro Section of the Ordem dos Arquitectos (NAAV) since 2007. He was visiting professor of design at the University from Aveiro in 1997/1998. He teaches architecture at the Lusíada University of Porto since 1994. He has a PhD in Architecture from the Lusíada University of Porto. He held a solo exhibition at the Lisbon Chamber of Architects, in the “Project Room” cycle – and appears in numerous architecture and design exhibitions both in Portugal and in Europe.
