REARQ
REARQ research group was created in response to the growing need for coordinated and comprehensive intervention in built heritage. Rehabilitating, restoring, reusing, recycling, diagnosing and, ultimately, intervening in existing buildings to improve and adapt their conditions to increase people's quality of life tends to be an increasingly complex and diverse activity, with an increasing demand that will foreseeably follow this same evolution in the immediate future.
REARQ group seeks to promote transversality in the various processes involved in rehabilitation, to bring university research closer to the reality of a society where the use of existing buildings is increasingly necessary.
