Pardo

Rafael Pardo. (1974) Mexican architect born in Xalapa, Veracruz. Graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the Universidad Veracruzana, he was initially a collaborator with the office of the architect Bernal Lascurain Rangel and later worked with Enrique Murillo Pérez. He founded his studio in the year 2000, in Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico. He has given lectures at the Veracruzana, Gestalt Xalapa and Tecnológico de Monterrey universities. His work is closely related to the use of exposed concrete.

Among his most important works, it is worth mentioning the Briones House (2012), the Oyamel House (2014), the Flavia Building (2016) and the Zoncuantla apartments (2020). Rafael Pardo has won the Mexican National Architecture Award twice (2012 and 2017).
