MORÓN
Ana Morón, Architect. Partner of Idom and ACXT. She started her career in the department of Composizione Architettonica of the University Institute of Architecture of Venice IUAV, working on research projects and as a Composizione I course assistant. She collaborates with the Projects I course of the ETSAUN (School of Architecture of Navarre) in Pamplona. In 1999 she joined ACXT–Bilbao. In 2005 se moved to ACXT–Zaragoza.
Amongst her most relevant work we can include the following: the Renovation of the Huesca Archives, the Zaragoza Pavilion in the Expo Shanghai 2010, the Renovation of the San Atilano Church as a Cultural Facility–Third Prize awarded by the Board of Architects’ Associations of Spain and shortlisted in the 26th Garcia Mercadal Awards–the Haemodialysis Centre of the San Juan de Dios Hospital in Zaragoza, 46 state-subsidized homes in Pormetxeta, Baracaldo–1st Prize, Scheme designs competition–40 council homes in Etxarriene, San Sebastian–1st Prize, Scheme designs competition–the Pavilion in the Miralbueno Municipal Sports Centre in Zaragoza and a series of urban projects framed by the All-Inclusive Intervention of the Bilbao city council in the 1, 2, 3, 7 and 8 peripheral districts. Amongst these, the following stand out: the Remodelling of the climb to Anboto, the Pedestrianization of Zugastinovia Street and the Urbanization of the Jesus Galindez Slope and Pau Casals Square–shortlisted in the 5th Landscape European Biennale and in the ENOR Architecture Awards.
