messina | rivas is an architecture studio based in São Paulo since 2016 formed by Rodrigo Messina and Francisco Rivas. Selected internationally by YALA (Young Architects in Latin America) in the collateral event of the Venice Biennial of Architecture 2018.
Francisco Rivas was born in Caleta Olivia (Santa Cruz, Argentina) in 1989. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture, Urbanism and Design of the National University of Cordoba (FAUD-UNC). Trainee at PPA
Architects (Juan Pellizzer and Nicolas Pedrosa - Cordoba, Argentina). Architect on the Architecture firm (Solano Benitez and Gloria Cabral - Asuncion, Paraguay).
Rodrigo Quintella Messina was born in São Paulo (Brazil) in 1991. He graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de January (PUC-Rio), with academic exchange in the School of Architecture and Design of the Pontifical Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (2015) and at the City School in São Paulo (2017). Trainee at office Architecture Office of Solano Benitez and Gloria Cabral in Asuncion, Paraguay. And also in the office of Architect Carla Juaçaba in Rio de Janeiro.
