Inessa Hansch. A graduate of ESA Saint-Luc in Brussels, the Belgian architect and visual artist Inessa Hansch created her agency in Paris in 2007. Based on simple and rigorous principles of implementation, Inessa Hansch's bespoke pieces of urban furniture are the result of collaborative work carried out very early on with architects and landscapers. The challenge: avoid the parachuted object in the public space to convene uses that will reveal the specific character of places. This is the case of the furniture designed for the prefiguration garden of Seguin Island, in 2010, produced by the MDP agency (Michel Desvigne Paysagiste). Inessa Hansch is currently developing structures to discover the former Belval ironworks (Luxembourg) converted into a university district. Since 2014, she has been hosting a workshop at Harvard University Graduate School of Design on the design of public spaces.
