CODA is an architecture and design office based in Madridthat operates between geometry, construction and computing. The team is specialized in generating light and efficient systems, using sustainable materials and procedures with the aim of reducing the ecological footprint, exploring the physical and digital limits of form-finding.
CODA works in the development of constructive and structural systems that allow obtaining an efficient form with simple and economic means, with a team made up of architects, engineers and computer scientists.
CODA's activity moves between consulting in computational design applied to light structures and complex constructions, research and teaching activity at the UPC (Polytechnic University of Catalonia) and own design assignments. The team has built in Norway, Hungary and Spain and has taught in Austria, Sweden and Korea.
