Bebiano
Luisa Bebiano. She has her own architecture studio since 2010, based in the incubator of companies of the Pedro Nunes Institute, where it develops projects that relate it to various arts such as theater, dance, cinema (art direction), design and manufacture of objects. Thematic universe that is the basis of the research that is being developed for the doctoral thesis of the Contemporary Art Course of the University of Coimbra.
Bachelor of Architecture from Darq - FCTUC (2006 - Master Barracks General W. Elsden Prize), with a season at the Polytechnic of Turin (Italy).
Since 2004, she has collaborated with the architects José Gigante, Atelier do Corvo and João Mendes Ribeiro, with whom she completed an internship for the Order of Architects.
Since 2009 she is part of the team of director António Ferreira directing several short films and feature films. Highlighting the film "Pedro and Inés", released in 2018 throughout the country and at international festivals.
Among its architectural projects, the following interventions stand out: Winery for the Tower of Palma (2014), co-author with João Mendes Ribeiro, Restoration of the old ceramic installations of Coimbra (2014-2018), in co-authorship with Atelier do Corvo.
She has already been distinguished in several competitions on his work, namely: Another Mercadus Award, Design and Architecture (finalist in 2010), Mies Van Der Rohe Award (nominated in 2015), National Wood Architecture Award (finalist in 2017), National Urban Rehabilitation Award (Best intervention under 1000 m2 in 2017), Premis Fad (Selected in 2013, 2015 and 2018), Diogo de Castilho Municipal Architecture Award (2019) and María Tereza and Vasco Vilalva Prize in 2019, awarded by the Foundation. Calouste Gulbenkian.
Academic training
Degree in Architecture from the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Coimbra (1999-2006). Final exam with the title "Sound, music and architecture bodies", with the final classification of 19 values. Final grade point average of 17 points, with the award of the Barracas Master General W. Elsden School Award.
Architecture studies at the Faculty of Architecture of the Polytechnic of Turin (Italy), as a member of the Erasmus Socrates Program (2002/2003).
PhD student of the Contemporary Art Course at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Coimbra (2010-2015).
Professional activity

Creates the Arquétipo Design® brand, dedicated to the production of prototypes related to architecture (models), the ceramic industry and design. Design of prototype machines (3D printing, CNC cutting and laser), in collaboration with the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, with European funds (QREN, Vale IDT and Vale Inovação)
She collaborates in the team of director António Ferreira in the art direction of several short films and feature films since 2009.

She collaborated with the Ancient Ceramics Society of Coimbra in monitoring the production of artisan ceramics, the management of the company and the application for European grants (SI Inovação, from the National Strategic Reference Framework - QREN) from 2001 to 2010.
