Atelier Branco founded by Matteo Arnone (Parma, IT) & Pep Pons (Barcelona, ES), architects by the Accademia Architettura Mendrisio (Switzerland) is an architecture workshop based in Sao Paulo that develops projects of different scales and programs in all the world. in São Paulo, Brazil.
Matteo Arnone. Born in Parma in 1984, he graduated in 2009 as architect and co-founder of Atelier Branco. He has worked at SFV Statens Fastighetsverk, Stockholm, Sweden. In 2009 he also worked with KKAA, Kengo Kuma Architect and Associates, in Tokyo, Japan. He studied a Master of Science in Architecture at Accademia Architettura Mendris in 2011.
Pep Pons. He was born in Barcelona, Spain in 1986. He graduated in Architecture from ETSAV Barcelona in 2006. Between 2009-2010, he worked at AMA, Aires Mateus e Associados, Lisbon, Portugal. In 2011, he studied the Master of Science in Architecture at the Architettura Mendrisio Accademia in Switzerland. He has worked as a professor at Project Studio, fourth year at Escola da Cidade, São Paulo, Brazil (2012-2014). He co-founded Atelier Branco in 2012, he settled in São Paulo, Brazil.
