Atelier AMASA is an architecture studio based in Barcelonnette, France, founded in 2017 by Aurore Schaeffer and Alejandro Flores, specializing in medium-scale private and public projects, exploring local construction traditions and creating innovative spatial responses.

Aurore Schaeffer (b. 1987) Graduated in Architecture from L'École nationale supérieure d'architecture de Paris-La Villette in 2010 who, after obtaining her degree in Marseille, began her practice as a project manager at the Chilean architecture studio BordeUrbano, specialized in social and collective housing.

Alejandro Flores (b. 1986) Graduated in the Master of Architecture from the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso in Chile in 2012 and with a Master in Architecture at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO) in 2010 and post-master studies in Seismic Construction at L'École nationale supérieure d'architecture de Marseille in 2015. Alejandro began his architectural career working as chief architect on small private projects adapted to the environment of southern Chile, before establishing Atelier AMASA in 2017 with his partner Aurore Schaeffer in the small town of Barcelonnette in the southern alps.
