ASP - Arquitectura Sergio Portillo is a studio founded in 2014, based in Mexico City and led by Sergio Portillo. With an approach that is sensitive to context and the environment, the studio seeks to generate value in the assignments that have been requested through solutions that combine global ideas with regional products and processes. His contemporary practice of architecture values the intangible and, as a consequence, beyond forms or aesthetics, they seek to achieve unique experiences and thereby improve the quality of life of the people who live in the projects. His work has been recognized in Mexico as abroad.
Sergio Portillo was born in Mexico City in 1976. He graduated from the School of Architecture and Urbanism at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, with postgraduate studies at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Barcelona, Spain. After 12 years of directing an architecture and construction firm in partnership, he decided to open his own firm.
