:mlzd was founded in Biel in 1997 and represents a versatile architectural collective that can now look back on more than 30 first prizes in international competitions and more than 40 built projects. The office's work spans a broad spectrum. Among the most important works are the redesign of the presidential space of the UN General Assembly in New York (2004), as well as the enlargements of the Historisches Museum Bern (2009) and the Stadtmuseum in Rapperswil (2011).
