Diogo Aguiar is the co-founder and principal architect of LIKEarchitects.
He received his degree in Architecture from the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Porto (F.A.U.P.) and he has practiced architecture with Ben Van Berkel in UNStudio in Amsterdam.
Together with Teresa Otto, he established LIKEarchitects, an award-winning practice focused on the design of ephemeral architectural objects and on socially relevant international competitions. Their proposed architecture, which is attentive to the current socio-economic situation, aims to boost places and involve the community in critical participation in urban space, having Installation, Happening and Urban Art as daily references.
Diogo has also teamed up with Luís Rebelo de Andrade for designing an Eco-Resort in Pedras Salgadas, in the north of Portugal, built in 2012.
Diogo has also written articles for national publications.
