The book is illustrated with more than 300 photographies - expressly taken by Duccio Malagamba for this edition- drawings and sketches. It also includes a conversation, as an interview, between Moneo, Ignacio Borrego, Néstor Montenegro and Lina Toro, who talk with the architect about context, technology and program in an international project, his workflow, influences, international experience and knowledge until becoming one of the most important and famous spanish architects of all times.
«If I had to reduce to just one quality all Moneo's architectural production shown in this bunch of projects, this could be specifity, a concept that, on its own, explains this variety. Specificity of problems to solve, specificity of pshysical and cultural context of buildings, and so, specifity in the formal solution and specificity in light treatment and materiality. As Rafael Moneo himself affirmed years ago: "... a work is produced in very specific coordinates. Consciousness of this specificity is, in my point of view, which gives some guarantee, some safety, to our job"», explains Juan Antonio Cortés, author of the introduction text of the book.
