British-Albanian singer and songwriter Dua Lipa publishes the single "Illusion", as the third preview of her next album "Radical Optimism", which will be published on May 3. It is the song that she began to shape the project since it is the first song, that she wrote with her collaborators Kevin Parker and Danny L. Harle.

The video clip for this new single was recorded in the municipal swimming pools of Montjuïc, in Barcelona, Spain. These pools with panoramic city views were inaugurated in 1929 and have witnessed major sports competitions such as the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games.

Dua Lipa's song talks about maturity in relationships through her personal experience, explaining how in the past she idealized her partners and overlooked negative attitudes that over time she has learned not to overlook because "she no longer knows." "Let no one fool you." The sound of this new single is close to the nu-disco rhythm of their previous work “Future Nostalgia”.

The audiovisual piece is full of references to works that have served as a reference for the British-Albanian singer. The video is reminiscent of Kylie Minogue's "Slow" video filmed in the same location, and continues to add references to other artists in the choreography as it already does in the two previous previews released for "Radical Optimism."
