Museo Reina Sofía an undisputed international landmark of our country, has presented a unique and innovative collaboration with the institution's workers in mind.

The firm Lola Casademunt by Maite has designed elegant uniforms for the Museume's room guards a unisex collection that has been possible thanks to a collaboration between the Reina Sofía and the Association of Fashion Creators of Spain (ACME).
The new unisex clothing is the result of a contest called by ACME among its creators and associated firms, to unite fashion and art for the first time in one of the most important stages of art, according to the brand, an opportunity to demonstrate how design can enrich the cultural experience.

Regarding the winning proposal, the Museum director has highlighted its ability to adapt to all body types. "It generates at the same time an interesting volume and a singular silhouette that will be very well perceived in the rooms."

This wardrobe change for the most visible workers of the institution, which will be released in 2025, is carried out for the first time by one of our most international design firms, Lola Casademunt by Maite directed by Maite Casademunt.

"Uniformity is the face of the company and is a central and vital part of the communication strategy," Pepa Bueno, executive director of ACME, commented in a press release.

Lola Casademunt by Maite for the Reina Sofía has been inspired by Japanese culture.

The collection presented by Lola Casademunt by Maite for the Reina Sofía is inspired by Japanese culture. The costume consists of a padded coat with a piece incorporated into the collar to protect the neck like a scarf. When the weather is milder, the most visible piece will be a jacket with folds that simulate origami, a T-shirt with the white museum logo, and culotte-cut pants and footwear with sneakers made of eco-leather.

"It is an ode to traditional craftsmanship that, mixed with the most avant-garde trends, make up comfortable, versatile and sophisticated uniforms," the firm notes in the same press release.
