The Best of 1989 is always part of the group of the best songs by Tina Turner, in memory of this excellent singer, we have recovered the only official video of this song, this week that the diva has left us.

With multiple #1 and platinum albums worldwide, 12 Grammy® Awards, a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, and most recently her second induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame; Tina was one of the most beloved artists in the world.

"The Best" is a song by Welsh singer Bonnie Tyler from her seventh studio album, Hide Your Heart (1988). Written by Holly Knight and Mike Chapman. Produced by Desmond Child, Tyler's version became a top 10 hit in Norway, but was a minor hit elsewhere.

A year later, in 1989, Tina Turner says for the first time that "you're simply the best" is a version of "The Best" for her seventh studio album, Foreign Affair. It immediately became an international chart hit and went platinum in the UK. Three years later, in 1992, she would record the song as a duet with Australian singer Jimmy Barnes.
