Unfortunately the city of Denver has become news these days for the slaughter of an armed madman shooting in a cinema where was premiered the new Batman movie. However, Denver is a city, in Colorado, USA, to be remembered for other things, these days it is celebrating the exhibition "Now Boarding. Fentress Airports + The Architecture of Flight" at the Denver Art Museum. Here we bring the interesting content on exhibition, now that many airports are gates to start or return from vacation.

An exhibition that will change how travelers view airports and their design, Now Boarding: Fentress Airports + The Architecture of Flight takes visitors on a journey through the history of airports aided by film, digital art, animation, models, drawings, photographs, and full-scale architectural elements. Visitors will travel through six airports designed by Denver-based Fentress Architects: Denver International Airport, South Korea's Incheon International Airport, Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, Mineta San Jose International Airport, Raleigh-Durham International Airport, and Los Angeles International Airport.

Now Boarding will be on view through October 7, 2012.

Now Boarding: Fentress Airports + The Architecture of Flight is curated by Donald Albrecht, in collaboration with the Denver Art Museum. Peter Christensen and Darrin Alfred, the Museum's Associate Curator of Architecture, Design and Graphics, served as assistant curators. Exhibition support is provided by Hensel Phelps Construction Co., Earth Asia Design Group, Martin/Martin, Inc., MJAD Advertising + Design, U.S. Bank, Vectra Bank Colorado, Colorado Business Bank - CoBiz Financial, Fuller | Sotheby's International Realty, John A. Martin & Associates, Peliton Group Holdings LLC, the citizens who support the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD), and the generous donors to the Annual Fund Leadership Campaign.
