The third episode by Francisco Peláez for the second season of In Treatment[>2] - METALOCUS comes again from Amsterdam. He shows how it is impossible not to be involved from the beginning by the influence of the bicycle in the city, as a rider or not. jrs

How not to mention the cycling world having lived in Amsterdam? Getting to the train station of Amsterdam Centraal, turn your head ninety degrees to the right and find a series of ramps linked full of bicycles, is one of those indelible images that one rarely forgets. This great parking, a dock mode drenched channel works as a nursing staff transport thousands of people who for various reasons, mostly for his job, traveling by train to neighboring cities.

Since I put the first foot in the city you realize that it is a city designed entirely by and for the world of cycling, where a red line patterns and floods put up the last space, as the nervous system itself in the human body . This two-wheeled racing car becomes an intrinsic element of the individual, a constant companion, part of the daily routine.

The urban landscape identity is nurtured with the inclusion of the bicycle, a stage that colonizes sockets buildings, narrow streets that lead to sites or assume, ultimately, life and color dress amsterdaniano box.

One of the things I find convenient review is the curious variety of typology that exists, and has been implemented and modified over time. In this regard, it is noteworthy equipped bicycle or tricycle racing car equipped with multipurpose basket, usually of wood, to store utensils you need or just take the kids to school. An object that is tattooed designed and decorated as a consumer.

Come winter, the onset of cold, snow and rain, the bike is dyed and therefore ice bike movement becomes dangerous. I remember all those mornings of November and December, days full of gray that filled the sky and seemed unwilling to go to sleep. I and my figure wrapped under a black raincoat, bright and brooches to squeeze gray sleeves and the underside of pants you like a fisherman fishing at sea is treated. An outfit, where eyes timidly, were an inch gap between the drops to see that washed my glasses, and tight hood that covered my entire head and part of the front. A strange feeling I'd even bother, because neither look the other bikes you are by different paths and end up being able to drive forward with confidence and security.

The bike ends up being your friend, a travel companion, why love and end up feeling sad when you leave to fate definitely to return, certainly bittersweet feeling. Others, without further ado, the channel launched a while make a wish, perhaps back again.
