The Masquespacio architecture studio has designed the new store for the prestigious brand Breathe in Bogotá, capital of Colombia. The studio has transmited the message that Breathe wants to present to the world: innovation, design, expressing sensations and emotions in users, either when using their products or when entering and touring the space designed by the architects.

The space, although small on the surface, allows the user to understand the brand's message in a minimalist way. From the entrance, the client can perfectly visualize all the products placed on the shelves in a simple visual sweep thanks to the fantastic use of colors that give the project a strong personality.

A table with a custom-made design with an organic shape is placed on the plant where the store staff will meet to help and advise the customer.
The new Breathe store designed by Masquespacio breaks with the feeling of being an everyday store, carries the meaning of the brand, and expresses it in the design of the space. The treatment of color and the use of materiality is a fundamental aspect in the development of the project, all the space, the furniture, and all the elements of it are taken care of to the maximum detail.

The use of violet color in the floor and wall coverings, evokes sensations that invite the customer to enter a warm and comfortable space, a space that is both attractive and welcoming, while the shelves where the products are located are metallic, creating a contrast in an elegant and serious product.

Lighting will be another important aspect to highlight of the project, being in a shopping center, space cannot be nourished by natural light, due to that, the store has customized lamps designed exclusively for the store that allows you to get away from it.

Description of project by Masquespacio

Masquespacio presents its first project in Colombia for the sunglasses & frames brand Breathe.

The first design by Masquespacio in the studio’s creative director Ana Hernández’s native city Bogotá consists in the creation of the new store from the sunglasses and frames brand. The initial aim this way was to create the new identity for the third store of the Colombian brand.

As to the design its inspiration was taken from the study of Breathe’s brand values with a clear focus on selling human products.

As a consequence, you can recognize the different organic forms with a clear human approach, applied to the store’s design, which are get-ting away from the regular forms used by Masquespacio in most of their projects.

For the exhibition elements from the store on the other hand the de-sign includes shelves to highlight any specific product like in the window shop as well as taking in mind versatility for them with the aim to give Breathe the possibility to incorporate other types of prod-ucts. For this reason, the perforated holders on the walls have the pos-sibility to easily move shelves and hooks that adapt to each exhibition requirement.

As always in Masquespacio’s designs, Breathe’s new store can count with a touch of color, in this case lavender and earth green. Although the chosen colors are less usual and color has been limited to floors and walls mainly. This way, they can combine easily with the differ-ent colors from the products for sale.

On the other hand, as always, all elements of the project have been designed by Masquespacio, including the furniture and the decorative lighting.
