Juan José Millás is author of Wet Paper or The World and was awarded the Planeta Prize in 2007 - among other successes. Millás created his own literary genre, the "articuento" (artstory) by transforming any everyday fact into a fantastic event. Now, the writer and journalist puts some of his stories -which he defines as everyday surrealistic chronicles rationed in pearls- at the disposal of 14 illustration talents so that the artists can give free rein to their imaginations and make the ABC Museum an open workplace during one weekend.
Among the participants are three recipients of the National Illustration Award, one of the National Comic Award and an awardee of the Lazarillo Prize. The list of people is the following: Pablo Auladell, Juan Berrio, Agustín Comotto, Enrique Flores, Miguel Gallardo, Alberto Gamón, Javier Olivares, Paco Roca, Kike de la Rubia, Antonio Santos, Antonia Santolaya, Adolfo Serra, Emilio Urberuaga and Eva Vázquez; and Juan José Millás himself. The book will be edited by Nordica Libros at the beginning of 2014.
