Studio 44

Studio 44 is one of the largest private architectural firms in St. Petersburg and in Russia. The studio’s team consists of over 140 highly qualified specialists in a variety of fields (architects, restoration experts, structural designers, engineers). Twenty specialists are currently running and coordinating ongoing projects and acting as chief architects, chief structural designers and chief structural engineers.

The company has both the human resources and the capacity to perform the whole cycle of project stages – from concept planning and preliminary designs to drafting – and to prepare the complete set of design- and budget-related documentation.

"Studio 44" has an extensive experience in acting as general designer and coordinating contractor work. The portfolio of "Studio 44" includes such successfully implemented projects as the Ladozhsky Railway Station, Atrium Business Center at Nevsky 25, Nevsky 38 and Linkor business centers, the Grand Palace shopping gallery, the Novy Peterhof hotel, the new museum complex of the State Hermitage Museum in the General Staff Building (Stage 1, 2010), Boris Eifman Dance Academy, Palace of Schoolchildren (Astana, Kazakhstan), and Olympic Park Railway Station in Sochi.

Studio 44 is currently working on the out-of-town campus of St. Petersburg State University’s Graduate School of Management located on the Mikhailovskaya Dacha estate and the Museum of Nicholas II in the Alexander Palace in Tsarskoe Selo State Museum Preserve.

"Studio 44" enjoys a high professional reputation and holds over 60 prestigious awards including the State Prize for Literature and Arts, the top national awards in architecture: the Chrystal Dedalus and the Vladimir Tatlin Prize, as well as the top prizes of Architekton review competition held in St. Petersburg and Zodchestvo International Architectural Festival in Moscow.
