Sogo Arquitectos, architecture studio, was founded by Lourdes Garcia Sogo in 1992, with the objective of carrying out quality projects within all the areas that concern architecture and urban planning. The production carried out by Sogo Arquitectos during these 23 years is divided between projects, built works and management on the one hand, and research, teaching and dissemination work, on the other.
Lourdes Garcia Sogo (Valencia 1959), founder and since then director of the studio, has a doctorate in architecture from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain), developing the doctoral thesis “The mouth of the Turia. Hydraulic infrastructure and territory”, within the doctoral program of “Architecture, Building, Urban Planning and Landscape” of the ETSAV – UPV. In 1991 she began her work as an independent architect together with the architect Paloma Martí, and in 1992 she began directing alone.
