Nicolás Sáez Gutiérrez (1973) Academic architect at the Universidad del Bío-Bío (UBB), where he also works as Art Director of the Faculty of Architecture and Design at the UBB - Chile.
He is currently a PhD student in Architecture and Urbanism at UBB. Founder and co-director of "Bienal Concepción, Arte y Ciencia" preparing its first version, after its "zero" version carried out in April 2019, for 2021. Founder and director of the independent program "FAAF, Architecture Photography and vice versa". Co-editorial director of the magazine "Ojo Zurdo, Photography and Politics". Fondart Fellow (2007, 2009, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018).
He has exhibited his photographic work individually in various cities in Chile and has participated in international group exhibitions standing out: 8th Documentary Photography Biennial, Tucumán-Argentina (2018) Residencia Corazón, La Plata-Argentina (2018); NANO Festival 2017, in FOLA (Fototeca Latinoamericana.
