Mur
Efrén Mur (1978, Madrid) is a digital artist and art director with more than two decades of uninterrupted career in the audiovisual and digital arts world. Based in Berlin since 2017, he explores visual creation through the use of new technologies, generating perceptive dialogues in which image, color, movement and sound become essential compositional elements and end up acquiring their maximum aesthetic and expressive value.
With training in cinema and digital post-production, Efrén Mur uses technology as a means of expression and converts his creative discourse into audiovisual works that explore different formats and digital media, such as installations, live shows and even NFT works, which transform digital files into unique pieces of art.
The close relationship of his work with music and the senses has led the artist to take part in cultural programs and exhibitions at numerous events, such as MUTEK Argentina, Kharkhorum Festival Mongolia or FIB International Festival of Benicassim, and to collaborate with artists from various disciplines. His works have been exhibited in places such as Times Square in New York, MSG Sphere in Las Vegas, Toronto History Museum and Art Dubai, LACMA in Los Angeles, among others.
