Mollinedo Arquitectura
Alfonso Mollinedo is a Spanish architect with a solid professional career that combines innovation, sustainability and a deep respect for the environment. He graduated from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Sevilla (ETSAS) and has been a member of the Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Jaén since 1994. His career spans more than 25 years, standing out both for unique architectural projects and for his focus on the integration of built spaces with the landscape and the community. He has given lectures and received international and provincial awards and several of his works have been published in specialized magazines.
In 2019, he founded the studio Mollinedo Arquitectura in Jaén, where he develops architectural, bioclimatic and urban design projects. Among his most recognized works is the "Edificio Célula", a university residence awarded the "International Iconic Award" in 2019 and the “Andrés de Vandelvira” Award in 2020. His architecture seeks to generate living and organic spaces, achieving a dialogue between people, place and nature.
His philosophy focuses on thoughtful and honest architecture, using advanced technologies such as BIM, and applying principles of sustainability and energy efficiency. Alfonso argues that architecture must flow with the environment, transcending mere functionality to become a driving force of connection and emotion.
